I've just received this backpack and am quite impressed by its quality. I have to travel by train for long hours and walk like 15 mins to go to work couple of days a week. The regular laptop bags were not comfortable BUT this is definely a great commuter backback.
1) The Straps are well padded which i love. It provides comfort in case your backpack gets heavy and you have to walk a lot..They are also easy to adjust.
2) Lots of pockets for stuff. Like small pockets or medium size. Even a side pocket to keep water bottle
3) Good value especially for the price.
4) Materials seem to be resistant - of course i wont test that :-D
5) I am sure it will meet airlines' size requirements for personal items, which is great. And it has an extra strap at the back to attach it to your carry on luggage while walking. How cool is that - I hate carrying a Personal item bag on my shoulder at airport. So this bag you can put on your carry on and secure it properly.
6) it has sooo much space - still the bag itself is light weight. So you will pretty much carry the weight of your things.
Overall This bag works great, ! Highly recommend, great quality and super comfortable.

This backpack has great zippers. They move smoothly and offer no resistance. The outer material of the backpack appears to be pretty robust, too. The drink holders on the side will only hold smaller water bottles, so you may not be able to squeeze your 40 oz in there. I would also feel comfortable putting my laptop in its special pocket, as it has plenty of padding. The handle at the top is strong and shouldn't rip under a heavy load. The shoulder straps are OKAY, not bad but not great. I personally prefer they had a bit more padding in them. Overall, though, this backpack is pretty decent. :)
