Love the table but hate the fact that it tips downward with any movement or touch there is no lock to prevent from tipping downward have lost a computer due to it falling off. There really needs to be a lock on it or someway to prevent it from tipping down ward unless you want it to for storage. If anyone has come up with fix or idea , And yes all the screws were tightened very tight its not from that, It is a flaw in how its made , there needs to be a latch or lock to prevent it from folding downward at a simple movement or touch

I have been searching for a solution like this for years. Most I found go under the chair or couch body. All the furniture I have had has metal bars underneath for support so you could not slide any kind of pole under. THis is the first one I have found that simply goes under the feet of the furniture.
I use it for my laptop. It swings away nicely out of the way when I want to get up. Previously I used a lap desk and had to pick it all up and find a place to put it down.
This tilts which is great. My laptop slowly slides down if I tilt it too much. I will likely attach a lip to stop that.
There was a trick I found to tilt it. I had to remove the rectangular arm completely from the table top mount and turn it 90 degress and the re-attach it. I was originally frustrated that it would not tilt the way I wanted to I kept tinkering with it until I discovered that.
This is a perfect solution for my needs.

This table has it's pros and cons. I needed to get this after we got a new sectional with a recliner. I needed something to put my laptop on so I could do work if needed but have it move easily out of the way. It works great for that but has it's flaws. The sofa has a tendency to slide back which causes it to slip off the floor plate so I have to be extra careful and make sure the sofa doesn't slide off. It would be nice if it had a feature that kept the sofa from sliding off the floor plate. Second, it's VERY important to KEEP the Allen wrench they give you. I find the moving parts get loose after a lot of movement and I have to tighten them. If you don't tighten them, the tray will tilt. Overall, it's a good tray and does the job.
