This is a solid product. The tray is made of wood, and the frame is metal. One of the reviews mentioned that the tray doesn't swivel with the chair and they're right, so I 3d printed a brace so I can bolt the unit on the actual metal rod of the chair(instead of the base) so that it can swivel. I dont think it was necessary as long you tighten the tray bolt, but to make sure it doesn't slip, I drilled a hole and just placed a hex key in the slot as a stopper.

    Despite all of its flaws, I am really glad this product exists. There isn't a lot of options on amazon for desk attachments for your chair and at the time I bought this, this was the only one with a close to reasonable price. Unfortunately, the tolerances are not tight enough to be level, and my mouse will fall off it all the time. Also, it will tilt without too much pressure even if you tighten it all the way.

    Great product, good build quality, and relatively easy to assemble, but it does slide down gradually. There are many fixes if you're a bit handy.

    Some people say it doesn't rotate with the chair. I prefer it not to, but if you loosen the mount on the base of the chair a bit, it can do that as well.

    Took some getting used to, and had to move my set up around, but now it works exactly as I was hoping it would. I have a large, thick, live edge sit stand desk that couldn't accommodate any other kind of keyboard tray and this product solves that problem. It definitely needs a bit of room so that you don't get trapped at your desk, but the ease of adjusting the height and the angle makes it very convenient. It is rather hefty and hopefully will stand the test of time. I've been using it a few weeks now and am very happy with the purchase.

    The tray was tilted when working with it, the whole thing just wasn't doing it for me. I ended up returning it.

    Oh, it also won't work with a newer Aeron chair unless you 3D print a piece to make the gas lift cylinder wider.
