Super compact, nice quality for the price ultra lightweight fun lens
When you considerate intent or purpose of this lens Viltrox has done a great job with its design. 28mm is fairly wide and makes a fun walk around, architecture or landscape lens. It is super compact being a pancake lens design and offers autofocus functionality. It has a constant f4.5 aperture which works for general use but a variable aperture obviously works better. The built-in "lens cap" operated by a small button is a neat feature. It also features a built in USB-C port for easy firmware upgrades. The image quality from the lens is very nice with some slight vignetting around the edges which is easily rectified in processing. Overall a great lens at this price and I would recommend it.

    I would've honestly liked a a version that i could manually adjust the focus as this one doesn't have a rotating grip meaning it's fully automatic AF, but nonetheless it's quite sharp and retains a good amount of details for a 28mm lens.

    It's relatively affordable compared to other lenses and will definitely be great for landscape and street photography.

    be aware of this lens, I put it on my Nikon and the machine just halt and then lost the focus point in my screen, may damage the camera. I return it at the next morning.

    Ich habe ein Cancake-Objektiv fr meine Z6 gesucht. Fr den "kleinen Hunger" zwischendurch wenn ich nur "knipse" und nicht meine gro?e und teuren Glascontainer mitschleppen will. Ich habe von einem Objektiv in dieser Preisklasse wenig bis nichts erwartet und wurde entt?uscht. Abgesehen von einer (nachtr?glich korrigierbaren) Vignette ist dieses Objektiv an den R?ndern und in den Ecken sch?rfer als manch andere Third-Party-Scherbe fr deutlich mehr Geld. Au?erdem hat es auch bei hohen Kontrasten (ich fotografiere dazu gern den hellen Himmel von unten durch die dunklen Bl?tter eines Baumes) keine erkennbare chromatische Aberration. Weiterhin ist ein Autofokus (nicht der Schnellste zugegeben ...) bei einem Objektiv dieser Liga eine Novit?t. Ich werde es wohl behalten mssen.
