    A good enough beginner's jointer if you can get it on sale. Blades came nice and sharp. They made good cuts and didn't burn any of the wood I put through it due to a decently powerful and quiet motor. The cutting surface is a solid 8 inch size, as advertised.

    It has a couple of pretty big cons though. The biggest con is the fence. It's brutal to square up after installation and will become unsquare very quickly. It will just not stay put because the supports are made of very thing metal that bends easily. The second biggest con is the lack of a dust chute. I had to make one out of cardboard because the chips and dust were going all over the place, so it's very messy.

    If you can't stretch your budget for an 8 inch jointer any more than the price of this thing then it'll do with some adjustments and compromises. But if you can afford to spend a hundred or two-hundred extra bucks then get a Wahuda or Grizzly.

    Update: reached out to vevor support, they sent me replacement fence but, the fence is also not straight. Vevor support was one of the best experiences I've had so far with any tool vendor. I'm debating on whether to keep it or return it.
