  • Stable Suspension: Prioritizing safety and convenience, our coil spring compressor features a stable suspension system that prevents bouncing due to spring tension. It halts at the current position and only descends slowly when you engage the pressure release valve.
  • Safety Assurance: The strut spring compressor provides multiple-layered protection: a 39.4" extended safety chain to secure the springs, an additional stable locking mechanism, and a safety tongue on the clasp to prevent spring detachment accidents. The H-shaped stable base ensures minimal wobbling during operation. For added security, two pre-drilled holes allow you to anchor the compressor to the ground.

    Like others experienced, the jack release piston gets stuck because they paint over it. It is very tricky to get the hydraulic jack to keep pressure. It was also missing some hardware.

    I mean, I suppose it would work if I gave it a lot more effort, but after putting it together and giving it an honest try with a strut off a 2002 VW Golf...it just seemed like I needed at least two more hands and one more foot.

    I went back to my "lay it down on the workbench" compressor and had the spring off, just as safely (if not more so because I felt I had a lot more control over the compression), in less than a minute.

    Certainly seems strong and robust enough to handle some big springs, but it seemed too big for the car-sized springs/struts I was working with.
