    Purchased for upcoming knee surgery and was thrilled at the ease of installation and the sturdy appearance and feel. Wanted it to work sooo badly and was hopeful despite reviews. However, upon trial on day 2, plastic seat began to warp and fold under pressure! Cracking was imminent! Hubby panicked and asked that it be returned. Immense disappointment! Now he'll have to do without for post-op because this is the only brand that carries "Elongated" seats. The reviews are correct re: flimsy plastic material used in the construction of this item and cracks. As well, even with immense caution with guiding the weaner, pee spills to the outside of the rim and drips down the bowl. Yikes! I had seen a couple of reviews about this happening to other males and had thought that users weren't careful enough, however this too is true. Immensely disappointed. 😞
