These connectors are unbelievably perfect for my problem. The problem I have is my laptop sitting on a stand beside my monitor, but the cables to plug my monitor in are on the same side as the monitor, so the cable blocked part of the monitor screen. With this right angle down connector the cable now comes out of the laptop and immediately goes downwards and no longer blocks my view of the right side of my monitor. Yes, I understand I could just move the laptop to the right, but then my keyboard, mouse and other cables are too short. So my dilemma is, change 1 cable or change 4 cables... and have a different layout at home compared to the office. So this solves the problem of consistency and I don't need 4 longer other cables.
It's also wonderful that it's a two pack, one pointing Up, and one pointing Down, so no matter what you can plug in what you need. Technically you could plug both of them in and get a zig-zag shape.
FYI: Works fine for 4k@60hz as well.
