    Motor fit just fine in my Nutone fan mount. However, it is a little noisier than I expected. I also do not understand the reason for the motor start capacitor. This just adds extra wiring length and the capacitor is really not necessary for a small motor. My Previous replacement motor did not have this and it lasted well over 20 years.
