My thick colour processed hair is silky and bouncy after using this incredible tool.
I have incredibly thick hair. It takes me close to 45 minutes to curl my hair with a large barrel curling iron. My hairdresser has to take a break when she’s doing my hair to rest her arms, it’s that thick. I kept seeing this curling iron on TikTok and thought, “what the heck, let’s give it a try.” I’m in my late 50s and curling my hair is not my favourite thing to do because it hurts my wrists. But I do love having that bounce. My hair is coloured every 12 weeks and I do have those stubborn grays. This curling iron does not judge! I can honestly say this is the easiest curling iron I’ve ever used. I set a timer and did my hair from the moment. I started brushing it out to get the last curl and it took exactly 10 minutes and 46 seconds. I used a heat protectant spray on every strand as I did it and I’m on day five (in my second picture) and my curls are still just as bouncy as they were the day I curled them. I immediately went back on 鶹 and bought a second one for my daughter for Christmas. Her hair is just as long and just as thick as mine. (you’re welcome.) lol This is one of those things that you see online and you think it can’t be that good, oh it is. It’s that good. I did have a couple of little snags where my hair got stuck, but the curling iron immediately shut off so I could release my hair. It’s just because my hair is so bloody thick and I was trying to get too much into the barrel. I was amazed at how much hair I could actually put into the barrel and it curled It evenly all the way through the strands. The secret is to curl it up, wait for the beep and then just pull your hair out without the motor running. Let that curl cool completely as you move on to finish your whole head and then you can either brush it out as I did or you can finger comb it if you want curl in your hair. I was going more for a beach wave, but I have to say the curls kept bouncing back into my hair as my hair would move around my back. Five days later and they’re still just as curly. What an incredible little curling iron. I hope it lasts.

    This product is unbelievable. I am not and never have been girly girl with all the dexterity skills it takes to curl hair often. This tool, is everything. It doesn't pull, even when it did get stuck once, it reverses so that you can reset the hair correctly. My hair never holds a curl, I dont care who has tried to curl or what spray has been used, my hair will always fall flat. For some reason, my hair stayed bouncy and beautiful all day, after being in the heat and humidity all day. I do use a strong mousse to hold my hair afterwards, I dont use hair spray anymore.
    I love that it's so safe, I can't burn myself or my daughter with it. The heat level is perfect. I do wish the little beep was a little bit louder, but you can hear it fine. For those a little hard of hearing, you would probably have to just count. I can't hear it over my music. It's lightweight and the opening is wide enough to put your hair in making it easy to use. Overall, this is the best hair tool I have ever owned. Im ready to toss out all my other curlers because it works and functions that well! Love it! Worth every penny and if you want to surprise your girl, this is the gift!

    I have very defiant thick hair with a natural wave/curl pattern so didn’t have the highest hopes that this product would work - but - I watched a few videos and decided to give it a go: worst comes to worst I could give it to my neice.

    The Tymo curler is super easy to use; I curled my entire head in under 10 minutes - which is about as long as it takes me to straighten it usually. Barely any noise whilst in use (for anyone with sensitive ears) and the barrel remained cool enough you could pop it down between sections without the fear of starting a fire.

    I’ve taken some photos of my hair after I curled it, oiled it and popped some hair spray in - I think the curls are holding really well so far.

    I did manage to buy this with a £9 promotional discount, but, based on the results I’d be happy to pay the extra for the convenience - it’s such a good value product.

    If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it
