La saison de la planche à pagaie n'est pas encore commencée, mais je prépare mes accessoires en vue de renouer avec mon sport préféré des deux dernières années!

L'été dernier, je faisais des parcours de plus en plus longs, et il m'est arrivé de me dire qu'un siège serait très utile pour varier les postures et me reposer un peu les jambes.

J'avais vu différents types de sièges, qui me semblent assez variables en confort et en qualité! Avec son coussin très mince, celui-ci n’aurait peut-être pas été mon premier choix. Maintenant que je l’ai en main, je peux confirmer que le coussinage est très léger, donc pas le meilleur choix pour un confort sur une longue période. En ce qui me concerne, je ne vais pas l’utiliser de façon prolongée: je prévois varier les position, alors celui-ci conviendra.

Aussi, les sangles sont quand même courtes, et exigent que les œillets de la planche soient positionnés au bon endroit pour permettre de maintenir le dossier en position assise. N'ayant pas accès à ma planche en ce moment, je ne peux valider si ça convient. J'envisage déjà l'achat d’œillets supplémentaires.

Je viendrai compléter cette évaluation et aussi mettre des photos en situation réelle en juin!

This seat is unfortunately disappointing. I ordered it to use with my stand up paddleboard so that I could have the option to sit and use it like a kayak on occasion. The seat is not very deep and minimally padded and unlikely to provide comfort for hours of sitting. The straps which secure it have minimal length and adjustability, and the hooks would require that you have D rings placed in a very specific location on your boat or paddleboard to work with the straps on this seat. In addition, the straps and clip hardware are not very robust and are poor quality and undersized for their roles. Even when strapped in position the seat does not stay vertical and I was constantly fighting with it. Unfortunately, I won’t be using this with my paddleboard this summer.

Great concept! But could have some improvements. I would like the middle to bottom portion be a little thicker, and also wider. I don't think there's any reason for it to become more narrow the closer it is to the SUP. The straps and key rings are pretty good, and adjustable.

I like the padding, plus the breathable design accent grooves. That's an especially good feature during the extra hot days!

You can fold this chair, and it takes up very little space even when not in use. Overall, this is a decent SUP accessory for comfort!

Although for myself I overlooked something which was my paddle only has 1 paddle on one side where as kayaks and other SUPs that have a built in seat always come with a two ended paddle.
