The 3M adhesive backing is great, and what I've come to expect from the 3M brand. The adhesive sticks well to smooth surfaces like a plastic case and not so much a textured case. Applying this metal plate to my phone case just under my MagSafe magnetic ring, I can use any other type of magnetic phone holder and the magnetization is very strong. No worries of my phone falling off while driving over speed bumps or on unfinished roads.

Overall, these metal plates work great. The 2 small circle ones are a bit small in my opinion for larger style phones but it might work for smaller phones.

The pack came with 2 large and 2 small metal plates. The 2 large ones are perfectly fine to stick it at the bottom on your phone case that won't block the wireless charging area on the phone. The 3M adhesive backing is strong and the phone stays on the dash mount without any issue even though a speed bump. I find the small circle metal plates are bit too small and might not be able to cover the magnetic part on a phone mount. Overall, these metal plates work well on both of my phones and I do recommend them.

This is a set of metal plates. You use them when you have a MagSafe phone or case but want to use non-MagSafe magnetic accessories. The non-MagSafe accessories will expect a round or squarish piece of metal rather than the circle of a MagSafe, so you stick these pieces of metal inside your case (if it��s thin) or on the outside of your case/phone. The metal is a composition that sticks well to my magnets and the 3M adhesive on the back sticks well to most phone cases except for ones that have a texture.

I had intended to put one of these in the interior of my case but even with the thin 2mm thickness, it lifted my phone a teensy bit and I felt the convenience of the magnet and hidden design wasn��t worth the risk to my phone since I do drop it a lot and the case has protected it through each drop over the last 3 years. I don��t feel it��s worth the risk to add some bulk. While I don��t love the look as much sticking it to the outside, that��s the only way this will work for my phone + case combo. You have two choices between curved and circle magnets. The adhesive is strong and secure.

Bought a switch panel to install lights in my truck and it came with a wireless remote to attach inside the truck. I didn't want to drill any holes in the interior since its brand new so I ordered this magnet and it was easily attached to back of remote and now I put the remote exactly where I wanted it and it stays in place. Also whenever I have to remove it and take it outside, the magnet does not unstick - I can take it off and put it back on as if it was installed there from factory. Works great for this purpose and would for anyone needing to adhere a lightweight device without worrying about detachment.

I did not know what to expect and when I first got them in I was not happy. Why? I thought they were too small. Then I thought well, they have to fit all phones. I used two on one phone and it worked out great. I have a case that is very thick and the magnet in my car that holds the phone will not keep it in place. That's why I had to get these mental plates. I put two of them on the back of my phone case and viola as if by magic the phone sticks perfectly which is what these are used for. The manufacturer provides you with wipes, I used them and dried the area and the metal sticks perfectly. I then used them in my car and again they stick with no problems. I'm very happy.

This is incredible! My metal plate for my car mounted magnet had actually peeled off my phone, I didn't want to order a whole other car mount just for the metal plates but found this instead! It has 2 different shapes, both would work with my magnet but I like the wider oblong one for easier attaching. The magnet sticks to it very well, its thin and very sticky so I don't see the same thing happening again, but love that I have backups on hand if it doesn't very sturdy, functions perfectly, and doesn't mess with my phone at all. Couldn't recommend more!!

My case is smooth, so the name brand steel plate that came with my magenetic car holder was not cutting it, as I peeled off three within a week of getting the replacements installed.

I thought I would try this on my case instead. I tried on the back of my case, it peeled off, but I saw the metal plates were thin so I thought I'd try sticking it inside my case. This did work, partially, my phone would not settle into the case at all.

I do like the different shaped plates because I had hoped it would work for my phone. The intent is to accommodate wireless charging with less interference.

I tried, this was not working out for me, but it would work, just I need a different case.
