Worked on my gas 2010 F150 XLT 4x4. Had both cat errors (P0420 and P0430) and persistant check engine light. Swapped both sensors, cleared the code and have been driving for a week without the error codes returning or the engine light coming back on. Will update if it comes back on.

    I have a 2003 4runner 4.0L V6, I had a P0430 code showing a bad downstream cat on the drivers side. Took to the shop to have them tell me if the cat was clogged or was just old and worn out. Being my 4runner has 417,000kms it was the latter and my cat is old and worn out. The shop also said the my other cat will eventually throw a P0420 code. So they quoted me close to $2k for a new cat, even more for a OEM one. So instead i found these non foulers. I installed it 12 days ago and it works perfectly. No more CEL and I’m getting better fuel economy as well, highly recommend this product. So great I still have the other one for when the other cat goes kaput

    Bought this to trick the O2 sensor Downstream so the check engine light would go off after reading about this online. Worked. I would have given it five stars if I could have bought just one instead of the pack of 2. I assume this is what most people are buying these extenders for so you really only need one for the downstream sensor. Great idea and product.

    These worked! 2010 Silverado the engine light came on with p0420 code. Basically that code is a faulty catalytic converter.
    Tested the converters and they seemed to be operating just fine. I needed to get an emission test on the vehicle and it wouldn't pass with the engine light on. Installed these took 10 min. cleared the code and the engine light never returned. Worked like a charm. Highly recommend this kit.

    Ok. So. I installed these extenders right out of the box. 2 codes returned for 02 sensor (delayed performance). This was different than the original p0420. I removed them and drilled them out to 7/16. Same problem. I removed them again and drilled them out to 1/2. Every time I made the hole larger the truck would go longer before throwing a code but it's still was reading too lean. These extenders are too long and may work but it's very application sensitive. My final fix was to buy Spark plug de-foulers (same thing as these extenders but shorter). Drilled out the de-foulers as big as I could go. Badaboom badabing! Fixed the issue! Get spark plug de-foulers instead of these for Ram Trucks.

    My cat got bad on my 05 Ram, so I cut the 2 off took it too my local muffler shop and they put in 2 straight pips too the muffler.... I already got rid of all the resonators long ago.... I threw these in with a little but of steel wool and they rest is history.... emissions test passed.... trucks computer thinks there's still cats on it... Fuel trims are perfect.. As long as your trim stays between +10 & - 10 your golden... Mine never goes higher then +3 and lower then - 3.... any mechanic will tell you that as long as you're went Within the 10+/- that's as good as your gonna get..... 5*... Great for getting some more horses out and getting that engine breathing better
