Uni the Unicorn, the only unicorn who believes kids are real, slides down a double rainbow to visit friends on earth.

Uni the Unicorn visits her best friend in the real world. Now, everyone will know that unicorns exist and that Uni is real after all.

But when the little girl introduces Uni to her family and friends, they can't see the unicorn.

Then, with the power of believing and Uni's magic horn, one little boy begins to see something. And then all the kids begin to believe in magic. And as the real world grows brighter and brighter, all kinds of other magical creatures appear, ending the book with the most dazzling array of imaginary creatures.

Paris Rosenthal, the daughter of the late Amy Krouse Rosenthal, wrote this as a tribute to her mom.

    I bought this for my 4 year old niece. I watch her before she goes to pre K and we read at least 3 books daily. She loves reading and I can tell when she really likes books because she’ll want to hear them again - every day - for weeks haha. This was a hit! Such a hit that she requested more from this series. For reference - her other very favorite books are the Danny And The Dinosaur series and the Corduroy series.

    Her 6 year old sister has to read 50 books over summer vacation and borrowed the same books because they appealed to her and are written at her reading level. So Uni the Unicorn is a win with the 4 and the 6 year old!

    The illustrations really captivate the young mind - especially the parts conveying the magic of unicorns. Very well done!
