What I Like - This cleaner is very easy to use with easy to follow instructions. I always struggle getting my glasses clean, but this really helps get the grime off. I’ve also used it for my harder metal jewelry such as silver necklaces and bracelets. It really shines up the dull & dirty silver. It doesn’t take up much counter space and actually is fairly compact, but a big enough size to hold a large array of items. It works well as advertised and you can always find more uses for it as time goes on. A great value and will save on those special jewelry potions to clean and those wipes for glasses.

I always had trouble getting the film and smears of the lenses. My glasses never seemed clear enough
especially if I was looking into bright light. I tried the machine with just water but it took two times to get them clean. I tried with a drop of mild soap in the water and they came out great. This is a decent hobbyist ultrasonic cleaner that seems reasonably well made and works as expected without issues. The physical build quality seems decent although that's typical of most other portable ultrasonic cleaners with similar design and style that I've come across and tested. It doesn't have any fancy settings or controls except a power button and mode button select one of the cleaning intervals/cycles (i.e. from 90 to 480 sec) and that's all there is (well, not quite).

Wait, how about the M button? I'm glad you asked. It's actually for turning on degassing mode (as opposed to the normal) and that's what you should do first (without any items in the tank) if you see bubbles forming when it's running in the normal mode (i.e. non-degassing mode). Gas is bad? Why? Because it consumes the energy required to do the actual cleaning and the more you have it, the less ultrasonic energy remains that can be used to clean your jewellery and whatnot. As such, you wanna get rid of the gas first before starting cleaning whatever you wanna clean.

It's not exactly large (600 ml) but should be enough for most personal items such as glasses or jewelleries etc although exceptionally large or thick glasses might be an issue. Btw, similar to most other portable ultrasonic cleaners, irreparable damages or temporary overload can occur if it's running without anything in it so just keep that in mind.

It's rated for 30W which is decent; however, it's far from being powerful and I'd like to see 45W at least for these portable ultrasonic cleaners. Unlike many others with a separate AC/DC adapter, this one has it built-in and instead it uses the typical IEC 60320 C7 (2 prong) connector which is slightly bulkier than those with external AC/DC adapter (but I digress).

For items such as eyeglasses or jewelries that's relatively clean (i.e. whatever you are trying to remove doesn't necessarily bind to the item strongly), it might work reasonably well; however, it's likely NOT able to remove anything stubborn simply because it's not powerful enough (and I'd ague that might still be the case even with cleaning solution but again I digress).

For other things, a cleaning solution is definitely required (although it's specifically stated to require one regardless) for maximum results but even so, it's still dependent upon surface types and what needs to be removed. The overall build quality is reasonably decent and the noise level is relatively low as far as these ultrasonic cleaners are concerned. Btw, I wish this is powered by USB-C (with PD of course) instead but I'll settle with traditional AC cord; at least it's better than another adapter to be carried around.

All things considered, this is a reasonably decent portable ultrasonic cleaner that's reasonably well-made and works as expected without issues (for now); however, it's relatively low in power (30W) so don't expect it to work as commercial grade cleaners and it's rather limited on what it can actual clean.

With that being said, it does have degas mode that many other don't have although it's (i.e. gas) infrequent to be an issue for me. It's reasonably priced at $35 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features (normal/degas modes), usability, and performance. However, its longevity remains to be seen, as always. Your mileage might vary.
