There's no AF or stabilization. That's why I put that in the review scores. The description said that too, so I knew what I was getting.
So for the money... keep this in mind.. this thing is an absolute gem. I was able to get sharp images on a tripod with it, and the color rendition was perfectly fine. It's a great additive to my lens collection. Honestly, I expected this lens to be nothing but trash when I added it to my cart. I was greatly surprised. It's a budget friendly long zoom that can easily get you started in the types of photography that use it.
This is no contender for the 2k plus priced brand lenses. It doesn't have enough features. But a budget cheapo lens should NOT be this good.
I won't go into what it doesn't have... that should be obvious. I'll instead say it has all the basics covered, and covered really well. If you're considering this and you have a limited budget, then go for it. You'll have loads of fun with it and probably get some really good shots with it.
It's a completely manual lens. Be prepared for that. You absolutely NEED to have manual settings of your camera under a good grasp if you're going to use it.
Honestly, this is a great buy. Don't pass up trying this one out.
