Product connection schematic diagram:
Mode1 USB-C1 and USB-C2 connect to the laptop by wiring, USB-C header connect to the display, through the key switch, shared using a screen. USB-C DC/5V requires external power supply.

Use of common problems and troubleshooting methods
1. The product has been connected to the device, and the key cannot switch the fault:
1). Check DC 5V connector. If there is no power supply, please connect the power supply cable to the 5V charging head or the USB head of the equipment. After the power supply is connected, the channel selection indicator will turn on, and the button can be switched.
2). If DC 5V has power supply, please check whether other connecting lines are correctly connected, or exclude whether the connecting lines are well inserted. If it still don't work, swap the ends of the USB-C cables and reconnect them, because some monitors and laptop ports have fixed wiring direction, not standard universal usb-c port.
3). Check whether the button can be pressed, whether the key touch control is good and effective, and whether the 1 and 2 channel lights are on. If the channel lights are not on, it is recommended to contact the service merchant to replace them.
2. The display cannot display the fault after the product connection:
1). Check whether the computer USB-C and the monitor communicate normally, and whether the monitor or display device switch the channels correctly.
2). Check that the output resolution of the computer is too high. It is recommended to set the output of the computer output resolution to the highest resolution that the display can display.
3). Check whether the computer device supports the USB-C video output function.
3. After the equipment is connected, the charging and transmission speed is slow:
1). Under the normal condition of equipment connection and communication, the speed of charging and transmission speed is related to your computer configuration and the equipment, as well as the quality of your cable.
2). Check whether your computer configuration and external equipment can run high speed transmission, Check whether your computer has the PD fast charging function. Check whether your charging adapter has the PD fast charging function.
3). Update your computer motherboard system drive, and then restart the computer to try.

This does not work. I’ve tried 3 different set ups and computers and monitors. From my home office, work, and friends station. This product simply does not work and is unfortunately a scam. I wish I did not fall for this.
This is a very interesting product for those that need it. Product is well build and there is no degrade in display quality. I was so glad that they made a hub as I was out of options without it . Price is decent as well but I guess that is due to principle of economics demand vs supply. If you are in the market for one then don’t look any further
Mac Book Pro 2024 and a Dell Tough Book both usbc outputs and thunderbolt. Purchased the KVM and also 2 thunderbolt 4 cables for switching. Switching back and forth only sometimes works. Resolutions are not retained which is a pain. Does not always even come on screen times out and shuts off. Had higher hopes for this device. Resoluitons on computers are set same to avoid confusion. Screen is 2024 Samsung 49" with usb-c in. Have swapped cables endlessly, tried different power blocks. Nothing works.
I’m pretty impressed with this item. The device allows 2 USB-C video sources to share 1 monitor or 1 video source to share 2 monitors and can easily switch between modes. Best for sharing screens and watching movies. The best thing I found about this item was that it does not compromise the clarity of picture and sound
