- Comes with a USB-C/USB-A cable.
- Has touch button on top to start/ stop operation. (First touch turns it on and the second touch turns it off. When turning off it has retract the blade so it sounds like its reversing and takes s few seconds to stop.)
- Has a magnet to hold the device center while cutting and is suppose to be used to remove the lid when finished. (Due to the fact that it actually cuts the rim of the can, it requires so much force to remove the lid that the magnet cannot support it.)
- Cuts the rim of the lid so it doesn't leave any sharp edges. (When opening cans this means the lid will not fit down inside the can, so you can't use the lid to press down on its contents for draining.)
I like the idea of the safe edges and the way it cuts. When it operates it doesn't stop on it's own but when it finishes you can hear the pitch of the motor go up so you know it's finished. It requires a second touch to stop it, which takes a few seconds to stop, as it needs to retract the blade. When I open tuna I use to use the lid to press sown on the contents and drain it, but with this opener I cannot do that as it cuts around the outside of the rim and leaves the lid to large to fit inside. This opener does cut smoothly and doesn't leave any sharp edges so it is definitely worth a 5/5.
