    Best security alarm I've ever installed, be it dsc and honeywell and a few others. Just installed this into a new building. We originally had bought the dsc neo, but when the price came back on the monitoring, we axed that plan and went with the UNO. The fact everything is programmed through a web interface was enough to sell me; unlike others you need the full 100 page manual and sit there and go through numbers to program it. This might be some peoples dream come true, but not mine. We are in 2025/2026 UI is the way to go. If you're doing a new install or even looking to upgrade an older DSC/Honeywell system, this is the gem for you, about 20 minutes setup including wiring and your good to go.

    I have used DSC systems for a long time, and this is an excellent integration of an 1832 with the EVL4 card without the heavy programming requirements.

    I am planning on upgrading my main house DSC boards with one of these and the zone extenders.

    I wouldnt waste time on other systems. This is the one for upgrades and new builds.

    Highly recommended!

    Retired alarm panel installer and I loved the power series panel, could program from memory. now they retired them and this connect2go panel is a straight replacement for the 1800 series panels. I had a 1864 in my home it died, replaced it with this and it works with all wireless and peripherals including keypads. it has a few missing zone definitions but I sure their working on that overall "great replacement"

    I bought this to replace a DSC PC1616 that was connected to Hubitat via EnvisaLink. The PC1616 always drove me nuts with trying to program it.

    Straight up replacement was easy. About 30 minutes to pull old hardware and install new hardware.

    Connecting back to Hubitat took me about half a day but works fine. Biggest change was Uno is based around Honeywell and not DSC.

    Biggest issue with Uno was labelling zones. I found a problem with the website that drove me nuts. I finally figured it out myself. I sent a request for help and then a follow up identifying the issue. Email promises a reply back within 24 hours and I never heard back. I am under the impression that tech help is not very good.

    I had been using the Envisalink Internet add on with an old DSC board that was fried during a thunderstorm. This was a plug and play replacement. About 30 minutes to swap six hardwired and six wireless sensors, and connect to the eyez-on monitoring service. Everything just worked. An installation question was answered by their service rep who actually called me back on a Saturday morning. Great product.

While programmed is cloud based, all operations are local once the system programming is loaded. I have a fairly large system and have both wired and wireless devices. This is best for people who have a basic understanding of alarm systems and comfortable with low voltage wiring.

    Straightforward and easy replacement of the now discontinued DSC Power Series alarm system. Super easy to program, and magnitudes much simpler than the DSC systems. You won't need to call an alarm technician to come enter a bunch of cryptic codes to make programming changes. Took me less than 30 minutes using the EyezOn web portall to program 53 Zones, including wireless zones. All DSC devices work with no changes, except if you have the DSC PTK5507 touch keypad; it will work in a dumbed down keypad-only mode. I plan on replacing them with a mix of UNO5500RF and UNO WiFi Touchpads.

    It is software based, so it is easy to download updates as they are released.

The next day all the addresses were filled in automatically. Seems like it should be in the docs, so you dont spend time trying to figure out all the sensors ESN numbers, like I did. I opened a ticket and had them move my service over from my existing EVL3 device, to the UNO, and it was done the next morning. Anyway, I'm very happy with it.

    Yes it’s easy to set up and works with DSC keypads. And all setup can be done from app and not from key punches like the usual. All that is great. The issue is that there are no drivers to connect to Hubitat. The community has to do this. Now one can plug in an envisalink to this unit and get connected to Hubitat, but then I need to run multiple Ethernet connections. Seems like a bandaid. I don’t know. Not thrilled and may go back to envisalink and vista/dsc.
