I didn't want to use Drano again and risk damaging my pipes. My cheap plastic pipe snake was extremely difficult fitting through the small and slightly corroded access point or hard ninety degree bend in my old bathtub. The vinegar and baking soda trick wasn't working as well as it used to. And then I read about this product on a message board.
I slowly poured about half of the small jug as instructed on my slow draining bathtub drain pipe, waited the proper amount of time (there's a small smell while the green gobbler is working - I cracked open a window and kept the bathroom door closed), and then flushed it with approximately 1.5 liters of boiling water from my kettle. About 4-6 hours later I still noticed a slight smell so I ran the hot water tap in my sink until it was really hot and then switched to the bathtub hot water tap to flush out the drain. I am not sure if those extra hours of any residual Green Gobbler sitting in my drain pipe helped or harmed or nothing, but my bathtub drain works amazingly well now.
I find the product to be expensive, but it was worth it (as long as it didn't damage anything I don't know about).
