Not confident that the results are accurate
Without getting proper testing it’s really hard to know how accurate these tests are. Since I have nothing else to compare it with, I would doe two tests strips each time to see if they were both giving the same results – which they did each time. My main reason for testing is to monitor ketones. From this aspect I ran into the problem that many of the sticks are blue in colour for the Ketone area when you take out a fresh stick - whereas it should be a flesh colour. If you use a stick that has this blue in this area then after the test the blue does not go away, but stays there or becomes more dominant, making it hard to get a test result. I’m not really familiar with Leukocytes since this is not what I was really after when ordering the strips, but I noticed that each time the results came back as 125 (Modrida) so I ran the test on a couple other individuals and they also came back with the same results. I’m not sure how common this is, as my research said that this should come up as Negative. I don’t have any other brand to compare with at this time, but I do remember even with other brands that sometimes it was hard to gauge by the shading which numbers it actually fell under. In general, I found that for the Urobilinogen and the Glucose I did have to guess at which shade it actually was. I also found that for the Protein all the results came back with a yellow colour, which I assume means negative, altho on the bottle it’s more of a light green colour Given that a lot of the ketones area of the tests are damaged and hard to get results as well as my lack of confidence that the Leukocytes is reading correctly, I am giving this a 3*. Until I can test against lab results, I do hesitate to confidently say that these are accurate and would only use this as a gauge on whether proper testing should be done.
