It fits a Samsung S23 ultra with a Spigen Rugged Armor case. Some have said pairing and connecting to Bluetooth is a problem -- I didn't find it difficult at all, you might have to scroll down in the list of devices for Bluetooth. Others have said the remote pops out too easy. I have the "updated" unit, maybe that helps, but I found the remote firmly attatches magnetically. Someone else commented that it would be nice to be able to attach a lanyard, but wasn't able to. There is a loop for a lanyard on top between the cold shoe and the light control button. It's well built, solidy, yet light. The unit and remote charge separately. The light has 3 levels of brightness. Haven't taken photos using the light, so no comment on that. I like it.

What can I say about the ULANZI CG02 Smartphone Camera Shutter Handle Grip? I really like this. It works on a couple different levels. It's a simple idea, and I see there's a lot of similar products out there, but I'm really pleased with this. A little impressed as I didn't expect to be as pleased with this as I am. Maybe it's just the novelty, or nostaligia, of having my phone feel and operate more like the cameras I grew up with.

My phone fits into the clamp better without the case, but it will hold the whole kit as well. The bluetooth connects easily with my phone. The response time between the remote and my phone is nonexistent. Turn it on it's side and the unit turns into a great little phone stand. Best of all, this has helped me keep my fingers out of the frame when I am taking pictures. The fear of someone knocking into me and my phone hitting the pavement have been greatly reduced as well. The handle provides a more substanitial grip and a better touchpoint. Let's be honest, most of us aren't as aware of our surrounngs when we ae trying to capture the moment. This helps.

The cold dock holds a lamp and the threading on the bottom works with both my tripods. The magnetic remote stays in place really well. It would really have to take a bang beforte it popped out on it's own, but is easy enough to remove when needed. It's light in weight and small enough to fit in a pocket. Personally, I would have preferred it to be a little larger, given the size of my hands.

Battery life of both the remote and the lamp seem pretty solid. I have had this for a couple weeks now and have not had to charge it yet. In fairness, I don't use the lamp all that much, but it's still going and in full working order. The adjustable brightness is a nice touch, but a warmer tone would have been nice. It also projects well enough within the confines of an average size room.

Negatives? Only one that I can come up with. There is no wrist strap. Life happens and so do accidents. Even moreso when you are trying to capture that perfect picture. An extra touch point would provide a sense security in the event of something unexpected happening. It's been a standard feature on cameras for decades for clumsy people like me.

One thing to be aware of; while using the grip at an event I unwittingly knocked the remote (attached magnetically to the grip) off with my index finger, it went flying in the event crowd, and must have gotten kicked around because it was found in an entirely other part of the venue by the time I eventually found it 10min later. Just be aware that it could get flicked off. Otherwise I'm 100% happy with my grip & fill light.
