Excellent KVM for a single monitor setup

Finally an HDMI KVM that works properly with my monitor! I have a 32:9 monitor with 5125x1440 resolution, the total amount of pixels of this monitor is less than 4k resolution but for some reason any other KVMs I have tried is unable to run the full resolution at 60Hz. This UGREEN KVM worked with my monitor right away, no drivers or anything else needed.

The KVM uses USB-C for power and for data transfer from the PC's, this really makes the dock look and feel modern. Design wise, I think this thing looks amazing, the exterior is brushed metal with black accents, definitely not an eyesore sitting on top of the desk. The peripheral inputs are on the front which could get a bit messy if using lots of cables but I mostly have wireless dongles plugged into it. Having ports on both sides help keep the size down, it is actually very compact considering it can plug into four computers. The package is great, it includes four HDMI cables and four USB-C to USB-A cables for data. Many KVMs I have used do not include the HDMI cable, I think this makes it a great value. You can also change the between the different inputs by pushing buttons on top of the KVM, each input has a button so no cycling required. Also there is an included remote with a decent length cable, this can be run closer to the user for quick access.

Overall I am very happy with this KVM, it is modern, very stylish in my opinion, works as intended without issues, and includes all the cables needed. I have used more expensive KVM's that perform and look much worse while also not including the extra HDMI cables. I think this is a great value for a premium product, definitely recommend for a single monitor setup.

This is a good and reliable switch. I have my iPad, a Mac Mini, a Windows laptop, and a PS5 connected. They all run at different resolutions and refresh rates. Switching between the devices has been very reliable. It takes around 3 seconds to switch, but the time required for switching also depends on your device and monitors, so expect some inconsistency.

This KVM is built like a tank and it's heavy. The connectors feel nice. It comes with 4 HDMI and 4 USB A-To-C cables. There's a fifth USB A-To-C cable to power the KVM, but that is only necessary if your peripheral draws a lot of power. While on the subject of power, I do want to point out that this KVM runs warm (>40°C). It's not alarming but definitely noticeable.

As per the product description, this KVM does not support Hotkey Switching. For those who don't know, those are the KVMs that let you switch between different devices by pressing a key combination on the keyboard, such as: scroll lock, scroll lock, and then <1, 2, 3, or 4>. Those KVMs can sometimes have issues with fancy keyboards, so they are not perfect either. It really depends on your needs. Switching between different computers on this KVM can be done either with the four buttons on the KVM or using the four buttons on the wired remote. Each button will select the associated computer.

Overall, I really like this KVM. It doesn't have the most amount of ports or a lot of fancy features, but it's reliable. I also really like the build quality. It's expensive (currently $135 CAD) but it's worth it.

Been using this for about four days now and it's doing exactly what I needed - connecting my two work laptops plus the family desktop to one monitor without the usual cable juggling. Its 4K output looks crisp when I'm reviewing photos I've taken around town, and switching between computers is genuinely seamless. My elderly mother visits often and sometimes needs to use the computer for video calls with family - now she doesn't have to deal with multiple setups or ask me to switch everything around. The included cables are decent quality and the right length for my setup. One minor thing - the power adapter gets slightly warm during extended use, but nothing concerning. For anyone managing multiple computers in a home office environment, especially with family members who need occasional access, this makes daily workflows much smoother than I expected.

A very premium feeling item, sleek and professional looking. The included cables make it extremely convenient to deploy. The remote switch feels a little cheap and light compared to the KVM itself but only because the latter is so sturdy. High speed USB and 8K video make this perfect for event the most demanding setups. Highly recommend.

This KVM supports four computers to share one monitor. I have it plugged into my TV, and it works great. The build quality is very good compared to other KVMs. I especially like the design of the four buttons, instead of single-button toggling. Also, it's nice to see the KVM has USB-c port as input, and one USB-c port was made available as output. The USB-c devices are getting more common, and these types of ports are making it more compatible.
I think this is a solid device if you are struggling with plugging in and out multiple devices to your TV or monitor. Keep in mind this KVM switch is also downward compatible with just two devices, but the price is not bad considering the expansion opportunity to 4 devices.

Non è certamente il primo prodotto a marchio UGREEN che possiedo ed utilizzo quotidianamente per il lavoro che svolgo. In questo caso avevo necessità di utilizzare più sistemi con un singolo monitor ed una sola coppia mouse e tastiera. Prima di poter provare questo prodotto ero costretto a spostare cavi e postazioni per poterne utilizzare una alla volta o predisporre più monitor, mouse e tastiere per ogni postazione. Chiaramente non proprio il massimo della praticità. Questo prodotto di UGREEN risolve questo problema.
Una volta aperta la confezione ed estratto l' "HUB" principale, ci si rende subito conto che abbiamo a che fare con un prodotto ben realizzato e rifinito. La cosa non mi ha sorpreso più di tanto perchè da UGREEN sono abituato a questo ed è proprio per questo motivo che sono andato a colpo sicuro.
Insieme all'elemento principale, a corredo abbiamo tutta una serie di cavi per connettere la parte video con i relativi cavi HDMI (4 in dotazione) e la parte dati che fornisce anche l'alimentazione al dispositivo con altri 4 cavi USB-A USB-C. Sulla parte frontale del dispositivo collegheremo i vari ingressi HDMI e le varie USB che consentiranno a mouse, tastiera, stampanti o altri dispositivi USB, di essere condivisi fra le varie macchine connesse al dispositivo. Sulla parte posteriore invece collegheremo appunto tutte le varie periferiche USB che intendiamo condividere.
Una volta connesso tutto in modo corretto, il dispositivo riceve alimentazione ed è possibile switchare da un sistema all'altro in un attimo senza alcun problema o qualsiasi genere di esitazione. Il passaggio è immediato, il segnale video corrispondente arriva sul monitor e mouse, tastiera, stampante ed eventuali dischi, rispondono perfettamente agganciandosi subito al sistema opzionato.
E' un prodotto davvero ben fatto che è in grado di semplificare molto situazioni come quelle che vi ho riportato sopra.
Il brand lo conosco bene e sinora ha sempre restituito un'ottima qualità costruttiva sui propri prodotti insieme all'elemento certo dell'affidabilità. E' un marchio che ritengo ormai più che collaudato per quel che mi riguarda e quando si tratta di scegliere fra vari brand e tra questi è presente UGREEN, so di potermi affidare ad una azienda che ha dimostrato di saper lavorare bene offrendo prodotti sempre di qualità. Questo non fa eccezione.

I needed this for the gaming systems with our living room tv. It had reached a point where I had to plug/unplug systems as they got used and that was annoying for me and too much for the kid to deal with as well.

The unit is in good enough packaging that you can tell it was planned out. The switch build quality feels good too. The housing is solid, and the buttons have good action without feeling cheap. They include plenty of cables and it meant I was setup in just a few minutes. I tested it all with their cables first and I've got no complaints.

I have this running: Xbox Series S, SteamDeck, AppleTV 4k, & a Mac mini. I've got them all running into a 4k@120Hz port on the TV; all look great. There is a small delay when switching - around 2 seconds. The wired remote is very responsive switching just as fast as the buttons on the unit.

I'm not using the data connection on the Xbox or AppleTV but I did try it with the SteamDeck & Mac. Both were able to register the keyboard and mouse I plugged in as soon as their channels became active.

Priced at just over 100$ it's not bad as long as the buttons and ports hold up. Nothing about the build so far makes me question if they will or not. It showcases the reported speeds, and resolutions without issue. If you need to space save on using multiple devices this is a solid option and worth the price if you plan to buy it once sort of deal.

Absolutely fantastic, great quality, and everything works well. As expected of UGREEN, I've yet to find a product from them that wasn't fantastic and didn't last a long time 🥰
The aluminium really makes it feel premium and long-lasting compared to other KVMs I've tried in the past.

My only gripe is at this price point, I'd love to see a wireless remote instead of a wired switch.

I've tried a number of lesser KVMs to control home servers with varied success, as some have issues with switching on occasion and the design means they're in the way on the desk with all the cables.

This one interested me due to the capabilities and the simple remote switch pad. On arrival I was pleased to see the quality of the main unit which is metal on four sides and is nicely finished. A common grumble I have is devices without grippy feet but this one has them so that's good, although I was a little disappointed to not find any screws slots or mechanism to mount it under a desk or on a wall.

The supplied cables are all good quality. The USB-A to USB-C cables and the HDMI are 1.5m long, the supplied power cable is 1m and the remote control pad has a 1.5m cable. It's impossible to provide adequate lengths for all users and I think 1.5m is okay for the device to PC connections, but I do wish the remote pad had 1.75m or ideally 2m as it's such a useful feature but it does appear to be mini USB so an extender could be used.

The ports are all labelled, but the labels could be larger and clearer but I wonder if they went with the cleaner look, but once cables are plugged in that does ruin that effect anyway.

I tried the device with and without using an external power supply and it worked fine on my simple keyboard, mouse and monitor switching. There is a couple of second delay when it switches but that's to be expected and the key thing is good electronic switching rather than speed. As I mentioned earlier I've had issues with some KVMs not always getting the hosts to recognise devices on switching but so far this one has been fine.

The remote switching pad is great as it means the VKM can go in my can be fixed behind a desk about 40cm from the ground. Other than the lack of fixing options the only other grumble I have is it does get quite warm and I noted it uses between 3 and 4 watts when not even connected to anything.

Overall a quality KVM.
