The seller contacted me after I had posted my review. They think I received a faulty unit and refunded the full purchase price. I own another one of UGREENS chargers, which has been working very reliably... So I think they might be right. I just got a dud... Can happen to the beat of us.

Unfortunately, this charger seems to be unreliable. Sometimes it charges my device via the USB-C charger ok, but at other times, it doesn't. I haven't been able to figure out what causes this malfunction. My observation is that my phone (Motorola Edge + 2023) shows 'charging' when I plug it in at night, but when I take it off the charger in the morning, it has not charged.

I liked it a lot when it was working, except that the charger got very hot while I was charging my MacBook Pro 14 (M1 Pro) and the laptop charged a little slower than the Apple charger.

Unfortunately, it stopped working after 6 months.. I wish I had contacted the seller while it was under the warranty.

Changing my review to 5 stars because the seller gave me full a refund even after the warranty expired. They stand behind their products and I have used other UGREEN products before none of which I had any problems with. Also, before getting the refund (not knowing that I was going to get one) I purchased another UGREEN charger.

I already have a couple of Ugreen chargers, one at 100W and another at 65W. I like their quality and they have been dependable for several years, so I bought this one to put in another room.
I use this unit to charge my cell phones and Macbook. No complaints other than the glossy white finish (similar to Apple chargers) which is prone to scratching. If it weren't on sale, I would've gotten one in matte black finish.

Failed after very few uses. Agents dangerously hot when charging at higher wattage. It also causes a spark when you plug it in. Given the sparks flying when it gets plugged in, and the fact that it gets hot when you charge at higher wattage, this charger is a good candidate for starting a fire. I would not recommend taking that risk. Mine is unfortunately going into the garbage after somewhere on the order of 30 charging cycles.

It never gets hot, which is not the case with other chargers. My USB meter did confirm it negotiates the voltage & current properly with high drain devices like Laptops. Also, every time you add or remove a device, the charger pauses for a second then redo the power distribution which seemed re-assuring. Do read the manual as some ports has higher outputs when shared.
