Overall this device is excellent and works better than others I have tried but there are few criticisms. One, why all devices of this sort have the phone mic on the BOTTOM is beyond me. These are meant to face forward and the mic should be on the front. Most of the buttons (arrow keys in particular) serve no purpose with one device. The center button will answer calls but that's pretty much it.

Major issue is that PHONE CALL volume is horrendously LOW compared to media volume. This is not a problem unique to this device but makes the user experience terrible. If you have media playing, then answer a call, you will need to crank your audio system volume up to hear the call properly and in my case (MB e320 factory deck), you hit max volume on your system and it's not enough. Then when the call ends and your media resumes, you are jolted with high volume media. Since I like this device overall, I may use a headphone amplifier to boost the volume a bit more for phone calls but it introduces another device, another cable etc.. but I don't see any other solution since almost every bluetooth device I tried of this type suffers the same issue with phone call volume. It must be something to do with bluetooth itself. I am using it with iPhone 16PM.

Battery life is more than adequate and you'll likely get 10 days or more while using it a few hours a day. Charges wicked fast since the battery is so small.

You'll need to remember to shut this device off when leaving your car or your phone will link to it until it gets out of range or some interval of time passes until it goes to sleep.

I have one of the OG Sony Walkman MP3 players, and I wouldn't trade it in for anything. Small, loud, seemingly indestructible, but it ONLY has a headphone jack for an output, and no Bluetooth output.

I ordered this tiny unit, hoping against odds, that I could plug it into the headphone jack to finally "cut the cord" and use wireless earbuds, or a clip on speaker.

This little unit from UGREEN plugged right in to the Sony's headphone jack, and AS SOON as I slid the switch to "TX" ("transmit") it was captured by my clip on Bluetooth speaker (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DN695977) and stayed connected all day long while I was doing yard work.

I put a small square of Velcro on the back of both the Walkman and the transmitter, so they now act as one unit that I can drop in my pocket or leave on a table. Note that you cannot control any features like fast forward, pause, etc, because you are not actually tapped into the host player's control panel. You are only using this transmitter to transmit the audio output from the headphone jack, to your chosen speaker.

Don't let the roadmap sized instruction sheet intimidate you. NO special setup involved, no spending five minutes scrolling through a tiny menu screen. It just worked. Instantly!

I used to worry about accidentally cutting the cord of my headphones with my gardening tools, and I cannot count the time that they were yanked out of my ears because they got caught up on a branch. This little transmitter, along with wireless headphones or speakers, changed my life!

My ONLY complaint is that the permanently attached audio input line is only about an inch long. For my use, an extra inch would have worked out better to attach to the back of my Walkman. Not a deal killer, just an inconvenience.
