I bought this for my work truck because I was tired of playing with an aux cord all day. I had a couple concerns when I first ordered it - mainly about how reliable the bluetooth connection and how usable the call function would really be. To my surprise, both functions were not just decent, but actually very good. The bluetooth is impressively quick to connect. I turn the truck on and my phone is connected before I even finish putting on my seatbelt - probably about 5 seconds max, which is significantly faster than my car's native bluetooth. The initial pairing was easy and although it occasionally doesn't fully connect, it does remain paired and finishing the connection only takes 2 taps from my lock screen. I'd say this happens no more than 5% of the time, so it's hardly an inconvenience. The call function is similarly impressive. I drive a large overcab Hino for work, so it's not the quiest ride, and according to the 3 people I called to test it, somehow the quality manages to match or possibly exceed the other methods I use to make calls (my car's bluetooth, my earbuds, and my phone itself) My grandfather is hard of hearing and constantly asks me to repeat myself no matter how I'm calling him, and the test call I made to him went very smoothly. All of my calls were made while I was actually driving in order to truly test the quality of the mic and how it handles background noise. One other thing that is minor compared to my othe points but still worth mentioning - the adhesive backing is quite strong. It's a 3M strip so it's be no surprise, but relieving nonetheless. As you can see in the picture, I have it stuck on a spot that is textured and slightly rounded, with some of the corners fully exposed. Despite those factors it is holding on very strong. I was nervous and was gentle with it at first, but I quickly realized it is on there like super glue. For $20~ you can't go wrong with this little guy, and honestly, with how good it is I wouldn't even bother looking at other options, unless there's some very specific niche feature you're looking for. Easily one of the best purchases I've made, I can't recommend it enough!

    Highly recommended for those who dont have a deck with a screen. I used to have to plug in my phone to listen to music in my car. I also had to use my phone screen to pause or change the song. This was super annoying, particularly because I use a phone wallet and would need to unplug/replug my phone every time i went into a store.

    Now i just jump in the car and turn my keys, and the bluetooth connects within 5 seconds. I mounted the little controller next to my gear shift, so it is super easy to pause and change songs without taking my eyes off the road.

    The sound quality is good, and it was easy to set up. It initially played a whining sound through my speakers when there was no song playing, but I figured out that it was due to the USB plug I was using to power it. I tried a different USB power adapter in the cigarette lighter port of my car, and that solved the issue.

    Overall, I have been super happy with it and would recommend to anyone who is plugging their phone in manually to listen to music.

    With my newer phone i need USB-C to charge my phone on long trips so this works great to have my AUX receive audio and calls while keeping my phone plugged in.

    Mic could be better apparently (this is what im told by the people im calling). Cant use mic while windows down. And if my kids want to talk from the back seat (pickup truck) the callee cannot hear every word.

    Overall would recommend.

    I thought this would replace my other Ugreen Bluetooth to aux adapter for my car because this one has controls that I desperately wanted. This Bluetooth receiver has two things that dove me to the point of throwing it in the garbage as I threw out the box too early and can't return.1 the volume at max double beeps is the most ear piercing beeps that my ear have ever had the displeasure of hearing even when my cars volume isn't that loud. 2 the module almost never connects automatically and I have to re-pair it which defeats the entire purpose of this receiver. It also seems to stutter the first few minutes of using it each time but I can get over that. Everything else about this receiver is great, like the ability to turn the really bright media lights off and the responsiveness of the controls, plus it has a microphone for calls. But the fact that I have to reconnect to it most of the time completely ruined even having it in the first place.

    I used this in my 2008 honda element sc that has a 7 speaker system i put 4 new Kenwood speakers in the doors. un hooked the subwoofer it was ripped and left the tweeters in sound proofed the doors. With the stock radio and cassette player it sounded better adding this blue tooth adapter made a huge difference in the quality of the sound easy to set up nice quality wires good product.

    The listing says this is a new model which allows you to disable the ugly and overly bright disco light LEDS that flash continuously while audio is playing, but you actually can't. The button combination sequence that is supposed to disable the LEDS does nothing. I can only assume they are still shipping the old model.

    The instructions say to peel a plastic protective layer off the adhesive pad before sticking to your dashboard, but mine didn't have that plastic and the unit was firmly stuck to the plastic box liner. It took quite a lot of force to remove it and then the adhesive wouldn't stick very firmly to the dash surface so it would fall off every few days. It did come with a replacement adhesive pad though, although I haven't gotten around to installing it yet.

    Other than that the unit is attractive with good audio quality.
