Supports the listed codecs when I check it with a phone app. Works just fine on a Samsung A35 and I would expect on most android phones as it acts like a USB DAC. Pairing is done by pressing the button so the phone doesn't know what headphones are connected, it just works. For PC it does not offer the software options of the Creative dongles (wt-5/6) if you need to specify low latency for gaming, instead it shows up as an audio device. Works with the Sennheiser Momentum 4 on PC and phone really well as they can specify aptx HD or not. Good quality audio and acceptable range.

I've only used this adapter on my PS5, since I'm using a monitor instead of a TV without any option for audio. This thing was literally plug n' play for me. I literally didn't have to do any setup other than plug it in to the USB-C slot in the front and the PS5 prompted me if I wanted to switch the audio to the headphones that it paired. Voila! No fuss.
Secondly, since I use the only USB-C slot on the PS5 for an external drive, I decided to use the cable adapter that came with the drive converting one end of the USB-C to USB-A which allowed me to plug it in the back and the headphones still connected just fine. Sounds great to me. Really good in fact. If there's too much base, you can play with the "Audio Focus" and volume settings in the PS5 Sound menu. Definitely recommended.

I bought this to take advantage of my headphones that support aptX adaptive and this adapter is perfect for that. Great sound, easy to see and change codecs. aptX low latency mode is excellent for videos and non-competitive gaming. Works fine with Windows 11 and works well with my iPhone 16 even though iOS is not listed as supported.

The only issues I've had were with occasional disconnects and sometimes the play/pause/volume commands from the headphones can be a bit buggy. On the phone I sometimes have to swap connections to get the sound to play initially.

I haven't tested the mic functionality so I can't comment on this.

In summary, if you use this primarily for quality music listening sessions it's perfect. If you're wandering around, taking calls, and multi-tasking, while listening, you might be more affected by the bugs I mentioned.

Other notes:
-Supports audio only
-No LDAC support
