    So I really underestimated how many tacks was 1000 tacks. It's a lot of tacks. Like you could put tacks all around your sofa and have some left over for two arm chairs. They are sizable and shiny and attractive. The posts on the back are pretty good, but they bend somewhat easily. Follow the "one good whack" approach and make sure your aim is true and you'll get along with these little tacks pretty well. Miss or try to tap-ta-tap them in, and you'll be using the pliers to pull them out to throw away, because they'll be irredeemably bent.
