The Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flightstick for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One & Windows 10 & 11 PCs equips you with immersive, accurate controls for navigating air and space flight simulation & combat games on Xbox and PC. High resolution non-contact sensors provide precise response and extended longevity to the main stick controls, while throttle and flap levers control main engine power and make for quick adjustment of secondary control surfaces. Plus, the levers can be customized with swappable throttle heads to suit the aircraft you are flying. Precision detents at the minimum and maximum positions allow activation of full reverse thrust at minimum, and afterburner, boost or Take Off/Go Around thrust at maximum. An ultra-precise nano trim wheel allows for fine tuning of attitude, and an analog POV hat allows freelook in cockpit views or strafe thrusters in space simulation games. An OLED Flight Management Display makes for easy adjustments to control profiles, trim wheel input mode, rudder lock and more. Navigate the FMD using an intuitive rotary dial with click at the base of the stick to configure, and update product performance in real-time with all information stored in on-board memory. 27 programmable buttons, including an 8-way digital POV hat, stick mounted buttons, dual throttle lever detents and 8 programmable base buttons equip you with an arsenal of adjustable controls to your most critical simulation functions. Pilot fighter jets or airliners thanks to an ambidextrous right and left-handed design with a reversible wrist rest, and programmable base buttons allow the entire setup to be configured for right, or left-handed controls. Take customization a step further and adjust the color, brightness and response of multiple RGB LED zones. Familiar Xbox controls allow for easy console operation, and you can switch input mode to PC to play across a wide range of simulation titles.

    I've owned a number of joysticks in my day spanning from the 1980s to recent years and I can say that this product is tied for first place as one of the best one i've ever owned. The other one was Microsofts sidewinder force feedback 2.

    Everything about his product has a premium feel about it. If you're middle aged you won't be embarrassed to have this on your office desk.

    Some people have complained about the stiffness of the springs but that wasn't an issue for me at all. It stays firmly in place provided you have the grip strength and arm weight of an adult. I would rate the resistance at around 10 pounds which is actually really nice because it allows you to feather out and finesse smoother flight manoeuvres and to micro adjust degrees of roll. It also lets the joystick forcefully return to a perfect 0.0 dead centre on its own without needing a dead zone. Another plus is that it comes with mounting screws and corresponding screw holes on the bottom to mount it to whatever you want. I never needed it but for those who struggle to move 10 pounds in the gym turtle beach has you covered. lol.

    I bought Flight simulator 2024 on the first day on Xbox and this game deserve better with a Yoke/Flight stick. I decide to try this one cause it was one of the most complete stick and cheapest in the market after reading on it.

    The quality is good in overall and some good feature. The stick is tight and the base need to be attached to a table. The stick feel smooth while flying and precise. We can adjust the handle for the stick(height and left/right handed). All the buttons are easy to touch and feel at the right place in hand. I never try another flight stick but i recommand this one for a casual user. I wish to have a few more control to configure or a small key switch(to improve the possibility).

    Need a lot of configuration on xbox and the default setting is not good. Need to see some youtube video to configure it properly and understand how it work. For better efficiency need to use it with a mouse. Sometime Fs2024 loose the configuration but for this part it a problem with the game not the stick.

    I like that TB really thinks about what flight simmers need access to, and the versatility needed for different aircraft.
    This is a very good quality product.
    Many find it too stiff. While it is stiffer than other sticks, I personally like it.
    The cursor is the only negative. It is hard to operate.
    All in all, unless you have the money to buy a Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, this stick is the best flight controller, especially for the price.

    I played with this thing for two days trying to optimize it and make it usable for anything other than MSFS2020.

    When it comes to precision, this just simply is not it. The joystick needs way too much force which makes it hard to precise movement... Sure theres a 'precision mode' but you would have to manually toggle it with the clunky interface wheel at the base of your joystick. The trackpad is absolutely TERRIBLE which honestly I had low expectations considering the size of it. The thing is either too sensitive or not sensitive at all, you can click it as well but I found the biggest issue with sensitivity. If you have the sensitivity put to where the mouse is usable every time you click the mouse will move because of the sensitivity. Put it any lower then the mouse moves at a snails pace but you can click no problem.

    The plus sides of this thing is that visually, it's beautiful the build quality seems very nice I love the feel of the joystick in my hand it is solid it has lots of buttons an analog stick and a hat switch AND a trim wheel on the face of the joystick which I felt was great.

    It was just any time I engaged in anything other than just leisurely flying around is where I noticed it's faults. Elite dangerous trying to aim and hit my targets was absolutely awful. In War Thunder I constantly felt myself fighting the plane to do anything I wanted because simply the joystick is much too stiff.

    If you're literally just going to be playing MSFS and just enjoying life I think while expensive it is very nice but the performance is very lacking for something with a little more action involved.

    I saw this flightstick mentioned on somebody's blog when I was searching for Mac-compatible options that also work with Xplane 12. Sure enough, this worked just fine with X-Plane on the M4 Mac Mini when plugged in. Not sure what else it would be good for in this use-case, the bluetooth didn't seem to be compatible for instance and other games didn't recognize it, but for anybody that plays X-Plane on Mac OS- this is a great option.
