Listening to tributes like this one usually inspires a "Nice thought," and digging out the old records to hear the real thing. Not this time. Ain't Clifton Chenier but it's great. Perfect music for in the car this summer, and to feel hope and happiness in these worried times. After more than half a century of loving both the Stones and Zydeco music, what a blast their track is! But most every track is also a gem. I was lucky that I got to dance all one night in a bar to Clifton Chenier and his band. This album makes me want to dance all night to these bands. Long live Zydeco!
