Worked perfectly for my cucumbers.
I desperately needed a trellis for my cucumbers. I initially had a short trellis behind each cucumber, but they outgrew those pretty quickly. Since I have my cucumbers placed against my fence, I thought this netting would be easy to hang from the top and provide a suitable structure for them to climb. Fortunately, it’s working out exactly as I had hoped. It was easy to cut the amount I needed from the roll and attach it to my fence. I admit, I didn’t do the best job of cutting it evenly, but it still gets the job done perfectly. I had initially considered doubling up the netting so there would be more areas for the vines to grab onto, but I decided to see if a single layer would be sufficient. As it turns out, the single layer is all I needed. The cucumbers have grown quite a bit since I put up the netting, and they have attached themselves securely to it. I haven’t had any issues with the net breaking or coming apart, and it’s stayed in place where I put it. I only used a tiny portion of the total netting, so I should have enough for many more plants and for several years. 🔎 I added a picture of my cucumbers growing up the netting. Overall, I am very pleased with this netting. It was easy to set up, and has worked out perfectly for my cucumbers. Unlike my metal trellises, this netting doesn’t take up a ton of storage space. Prior to storing it at the end of the season, I would suggest rolling it around a piece of cardboard to prevent it from tangling. It doesn’t take long, but will save you from a hassle when you go to reuse it the next year. Thanks for reading! I hope this was helpful. 😊

    Ordered netting for morning glories to climb a very long wooden fence. There is a lot of it so found the easiest way is to lay out and measure length you'll need on the garage floor. Once length out just stretch and grid appears. Cut length and took one end-husband grabbed other and walked it fully open to where needed. Attached top and pulled rest down (while up) to stretch tight. Looks great and no breakage during process. Would definately buy again!!!

    I think this plant netting is pretty nice. I like how light it is, and how it can conform to whatever you want it to. It feels pretty sturdy, about as sturdy as I’d expect polyester string to be.

    Here’s what I like about this netting:
    -It’s really flowy
    -It’s light
    -There’s a bunch of it

    And here’s what I don’t like about it:
    -You need to untangle it
    -The hole spacing is a little large for some plants
    -Can come apart easier than other types of trellises

    The biggest thing that I don’t like is how it is scrunched up, and really hard to get untangled. For me it took quite a while, and it was a little hard to do. The other thing is the spacing which is a little wide for some plants. For me, the vines that I had intended to use these for can’t really use them, as the squares are about 6 inches in size. That’s pretty huge for some vines.

    Overall it is as advertised though, and works for many other climbing plants. I’ve been using a section of it for tomatoes, and they’ve been fine (I didn’t originally get these for them, but that’s how it goes). At $19 I think it’s fine. For what you get, I think it’s worth it, as long as you have some way of mounting them up.
