Product description

The sport of catching stones can be played by 1 or more people taking turns. The following is a common way to play the game: 1. Preparation: Throw 5 stones randomly on the table or the ground. 2. 2. Throwing and catching stones: Take one of the stones in your right hand and throw it upwards. Before the stone falls back to the table or the ground, quickly grab the second stone on the ground and then catch the one you just threw up. 3. Sequential Grabbing: Grab the stones in the order of 1, 1, 1, 1 (one segment), 2, 2 (two segments), 3, 1 (three segments), 4 (four segments). If all are completed in order, proceed to the next stage. 4. Advanced Stage: Throw the 5 stones in your hand upwards at the same time, at this time turn your palm over quickly so that the 5 stones fall on the back of your hand, then throw them upwards again, if you can catch the stones, the sport is successful. The back of the hand to catch a few (at least one) to catch a few stones, the number of stones recorded as score!

Trying not to spoil anything with my review here, but this was very accurate in its recreation of the game from Squid Games and the quality was very good, the material being rubbery in nature. They didn't feel overly heavy or too light that it flew away, and its a reasonal price at 8.99. Would highly recommend!

    I like the case these come in. The plastic reusable case makes it easy to store these between uses.

    The silicone in soft and has a nice feel to them. The stones do bounce and that is OK.

    I am only disappointed with the red stone, it looks more orange.

    This game does not come with ANY instructions, or available to download. So, time to fun, was lengthened due to not coming with game instructions. I was able to find game instructions online, with multiple ways to play using the same set.

    All in all, I am new to the game of Gonggi and I do not know how to play. The manufacturer should include this with the game.

    Aside from the colour of the one piece being a different shade to the pictures, it is not a deal breaker. Fun game to play when you figure out how to play.

    Recommended.

    Did you watch Squid Game and immediately looked up how to play gonggi? Well then do I got the product for you. These gonggi stones looks like it came right out of the TV show. The colours and shapes are really vibrant and look so cool. No sharp edges and it feels like good quality. Super portable and light so they can be easily carried. However, it is really really hard to catch on the back of the hand and I think that is because these are not actually traditional gonggi stones. Based on my preliminary research, they should not be silicone because this causes them to bounce off my hand easily preventing me from completing the games. They are durable though because I dropped them on the group a couple of times with no damage. It provides hours of fun and would highly recommend.

    These are good quality game pieces. They have the texture of pencil erasers but not as soft. They roll fairly well, clean and easy. Nice feeling to them.

    Do not buy. This is not a real goggi. This is a cheap imitation 3D printed plastic. The real gonggi is hollow with metal weigt inside so that it doesn't roll off easily.
