    Lots to talk about. First- overall this is a dang good value compared to spending thousands to replace my original Entune with Nav radio that got stuck in the famous boot loop with only 32,000 miles on the car. This is a well known problem across the Toyota lineup and they and Panasonic Ten should be ashamed of themselves for causing so many Toyota owners to be in my situation and refusing to help.

    This radio looks stunning and is a huge upgrade. It fits in the dash perfectly. The grey plastic that holds the vents and screen is not the same color as the rest of the car- but it's close enough. The QLED screen delivers amazing colors and clarity and rivals any screen you will ever see made for a car. I was able to download offline Google maps, Spotify and a few other apps easily and they run flawlessly. The UI is a little wonky and full of Chinesium phrase and description mistakes but can still be navigated with some trial and error. It comes with ZERO vehicle specific installation instructions or video links. NOTHING. A little surprising since it is made for the 14 - 18 Rav4 only. I am a mechanic so it wasn't the end of the world but for a novice this could be a fairly challenging install. It comes with 4 loose plastic brackets and 8 screws but says nothing about how to install them. They are not intuitively shaped so some trial and error was needed. The original radio mounted with four 10mm bolts along with 4 push clips. The vents mounted with push clips also and separately. The new radio incorporates the vents into it's new dash bezel- so they need to be removed from the dash, taken apart and the moveable vents removed from their bezels and then snapped into the new radio bezel. And you just have to figure all this out yourself because there are no mounting instructions, just some wiring diagrams and a user manual. Once you get the vents in and the 4 brackets mounted you then need to remove 11 yellow plastic trim clips from your old vent bezels and radio and transfer them to the new radio. These are all that will hold the new radio into the dash as the original 4 bolts and metal brackets are omitted on the new radio. Also the long silver dash trim you remove first to gain access to the mounting bolts on the old radio... It fits into a groove on the new radio so it has to be installed in the same step at the same time as the radio. Since the long trim covers the mounting brackets on the new radio the long trim should go on last. But since the new screen is larger than the old one it sticks up too high to put the radio in first then snap the long dash trim over the top of it. This step alone took some time to figure out to avoid scratching this new radio bezel or original long dash trim- and not break any of the tabs off the back of both. Again- you the buyer just get to figure this all out on your own. Good times.

    I did not need to install the included microphone. My factory one works with the new radio- but there are no instructions to tell you that. I ordered a GPS antenna adapter so I could retain the use of my original GPS antenna and not install the supplied stick on one. My factory backup camera also worked fine with the new radio so I did not have to install the included camera or wiring either.... Bonus!!

    You are stuck with 8 or so pre loaded home screens which look like they were designed for teenagers. They all have exotic cars, oversized speedometers and multiple redundant buttons or icons. This is one area I really wish you could change it. This radio is for a Rav4 not a Honda Civic or WRX with a fart can. It would be really nice if we could make the home screen look like an adult owns the car.

    It is also important to note that you will lose access to several vehicle settings that were accessed through the original Entune radio and not available through this one. They include the oil change reminder, lift gate height adjustment, hidden diagnostic menus and more. I have also discovered the voice control button on the steering wheel no longer works like before and now mutes the radio instead. I have tried and tried to fix this but cannot find a solution. Even the voice button right on the Google maps screen does not work. The small screen in the instrument cluster call the new radio AUX when the source is selected with the steering wheel controls. I'm sure I am forgetting some things but these are most of the issues and glitches I ran into.

    It does sound very good playing music. Much better than the original radio. The UI apps are pretty wonky but all the Google apps run perfectly and without issue. The stock backup camera looks amazing on this big new screen for sure. Overall I think it is a good value for the price and with some software upgrades and instructions it has the potential to be amazing. I have a 2016 Rav4 also and would probably buy one of these radios for it too.

    My Toyota came withva decent radio butvi just wanted to upgrade. At this price range you getva decent Android with a qled touchscreen. Its very ckear and smooth when swithcing through the screens. It's also very quick connecting to WiFi and Bluetooth.it also has other features that my stock rafio didnt have. I'm really happy with this unit.
