    I've noticed that when my mechanic uses an impact gun to tighten the bolts on my tires, it causes issues for me when I try to remove them later. Specifically, the sockets seem to expand at the mouth, making it feel like they're about to break. This expansion makes it harder to remove the bolts compared to the OEM ones I usually borrow.

    To solve this, I've found a sweet spot: I use my own torque wrench and make sure not to overtighten the bolts more than 90 ft-lb. This way, I can easily switch between my summer and winter tires. However, if I take my car to the mechanic for any work and they use the impact gun, I run into difficulties again.

    Good quality for the price. Always handy to have a good star lug wrench like this to help break loose and spin those lug nuts! Just toss it in the trunk and forget about it. Hopefully you'll never need it. Recommend putting a strip of heavy duct tape below the socket that fits your lugs (or scrape it up with some sandpaper and then paint it a different color) so you don't have to guess.
