✅ Stellar build quality. No loose threads and very tight stitching.
✅ Very durable fabric - should last a very long time and easily handle heavier tools.
✅ Many, many pockets, pouches, slots and holding bands. Hold items like pens to laptops.
✅ Nicely chromed and durable rivets.
✅ Robust zippers. They can be padlocked closed.
✅ Heavy tool pockets are extra vinyl lined (I don't know what the material is, hopefully it won't dry out and crack).
✅ Braided cable reinforced carry handle.
✅ Generous and comfortable back and shoulder strap padding.
✅ A solid bag bottom dense plastic pan. The bag manages to sit upright without drooping. The pan depth is almost 1.5" deep making it tolerant of parking the bag in puddles.
✅ Bag piping is dense fabric and not vinyl.
✅ Extra key ring straps, one with a quick disconnect.
✅ An internal reinforced view-through document pocket was included and it appears it will resist moisture.
✅ A plated metal tape measurement hook was a convenient bonus.
✅ Overall capacity is very good to excellent.
✅ Low to almost zero off-gassing odor.
✅ At the time of this review the vendor was offering a $40 Cdn discount coupon for a $139.99 bag.
❌ I would not call the product waterproof/repellent, however, splash-resistant might be a practical assessment. The zippers are definitely not waterproof.
❌ The carry handle felt a little lightweight and might fail (crack apart) earlier than expected. The carry handle cable should still remain in place though.
SUMMARY:
The product is so well sorted that you may initially have a challenging time deciding how to organize your gear. This might be fun as you map out how to safely store and effectively access your tools in a new way. You may even "misplace" your tools at first (somewhere inside the bag, of course). If you get this product, don't lose site of this beauty.
