I'm fairly confident you won't find anyone playing these in any tournaments. However, for what they are this is a very good value.
These are a set of 60 slip on tips, which come in four sizes (9, 10, 11, 12mm). There are 15 in each size. They are oversized, made to fit over the existing ferrule. I've tried it on a ferrule with a leather tip still on it, and it worked fine.
I suppose these are something you would want to have on hand at home if you have "house" cues, so that you can do a quick repair in the middle of a game. Someone shooting with a $1,200.00 cue is not going to opt for one of these, but would rather go through the more lengthy process of putting on a glued, trimmed & shaped tip.
These already have a glued, shaped, and trimmed leather tip on there. So, if you slip one of these on you're back in business. That's what makes these great to have on hand. I won't put it on MY cue... but I would do it on my competition's cue!
I think in the end, these are an excellent value, and I'm happy to have them at hand.
