This is magic. I have a few rugs that collect Cat fur and this easily cleaned all of their fur off it, got a lot off even after vacuuming it the day before. The bristles really do get into the rug fibers and pull the fur out, though it needs to be used in a pulling motion and not a push or push+pull sweep. I'm just amazed at how effective it is.
The construction is extremely sturdy, the broom handle is metal and the segments very securely attaches to each other. Though I wish the attachment to the broom head was universal, it appears to be some proprietary threading.
The "mop" mode is not that useful since there's soft bristles between the broom and the mop cloth unless you use the squeegee portion that'll only have a sliver of mop cloth contact the floor.
The main drawback is that this would be best hung up for storage, since otherwise the soft bristles would be bent when resting on the ground. There's risk of it permanently retaining that shape over time.
Other than that, the mop is great. Get this if you have rugs and pets. I might even try to use this on curtains to see if it'll work.
