This is super easy and convenient, a million times better than crutches and easy to use on the stairs. It will make you as mobile as possible while healing any ankle or foot injuries! I love mine after I sprained my ankle. I just feel like there was a missed opportunity to call it a “Peg-Leg”

This hands-free crutch is solidly built from quality materials. It does require some assembly, but the instructions include helpful photos. The device is a bit heavy, but not overly so. The padding makes the leg rest relatively comfortable. The one issue I have with it is balance. Yes, I meet all the requirements in the posting for ability to walk up stairs, go on daily walks, etc. In fact, I regularly ski, mountain bike, and hike with no balance issues. But put me in this device and I topple over at the first step. I'm assuming it just takes some time and practice. But my recommendation if you choose to purchase this device to recover from an injury is to have someone walk beside you to assist at first, or have a crutch as a backup until you can get used to it.

This "Threemart Hands Free Crutch, Stable and Comfortable Peg Leg Crutch, Knee Crutches for Adults for Foot Surgery, Substitutes for Crutches and Knee Scooters, Not for Older Adults or Balance-Impaired" is a lot easier to use than crutches going up and down stairs and walking around. It takes practice to get used to it,but once you have figured out how to balance and walk, it is so much easier and better than crutches that go under your arms. I have shoulder problems, and regular crutches become tiring and make me ache, because my arm strength is affected by my shoulder. If you have standard balance and patience to just practice a bit, I think most people will love the freedom and ability to get around easier with this knee crutch. It is well made and I have not had a problem with it. This is a good value, it is well made and the cost of the one from the Surgical Supply store is at least twice as much.

This item might work well for others, but I found it to be too heavy for me to use very well. I had foot surgery and have to be non-weight bearing for 8 weeks. You have to have really good balance to use this. And if you lose your balance you’re going down!! I did return the item for a full refund without any hassle. I greatly appreciated that!
