    Thorne is a high-quality brand that uses more bioavailable ingredients than what the cheaper brands use. This product has an NPN meaning it is licensed with Health Canada. Like their other products, these capsules are easy to swallow. With that said, you are paying for quality so this isn't the most economical option.

    I have tried the brand Thorne before and I keep coming back to try other products from this brand- always a winner. This time I ordered Thyrocsin which is a supplement that is a blend of nutrients and botanicals that enhance T4 Levels including iodine, tyrosine, and ashwagandha. The product came in a sealed plastic bottle of 120 capsules. The recommended dose is to take 1 capsule 2 times a day either food or as recommended by a health-care practitioner. And to take a few hours before or after taking other medication. I have taken the recommended dose and have not had any adverse reactions. Based on the recommended dose this bottle should last me 60 days. The bottle I received has an expiry date of 15 months from the date of delivery. There is no requirement listed to refrigerate the product after opening. The capsules are average size and easy to swallow with water. I did not detect any taste, smell or after taste. I have not taken the product long enough to notice any benefits but based on the ingredients list I am very hopeful.

    Pros:

    - Interesting thyroid formulation that contains a strong mix of helpful supplements. The quality ingredients in this supplement is clear, with highly bioavailable chemical forms and some branded compounds like TRAACS minerals and KSM-66 ashwagandha.

    - I found the medium sized capsules easy to swallow. I didn't notice any aftertaste, nor any negative side effects.

    - The bottle has an NPN number which means that it's licensed by Health Canada. I think Thorne products are also made in the US.

    Cons:

    - None.

    For a number of years, my healthcare provider has had me use a couple of different supplements aimed at supporting the thyroid. I say a couple because as one was no longer available he had me switch. The current supplement I was using is very close to what the Thorne product includes in the ingredients but at slightly different levels. When I talked with him about this about a week ago, he made the recommendation to switch, use the Thorne product for three weeks and then go back to see him.

    ► I have had zero negative reactions to this product.
    ► Heal-Canada certified - NPN 80007353.
    ► Easy to swallow "00" sized capsule.
    ► There is no mention of where this is made, just that Thorne is a US company and that the product has been imported by GAB Innovations in Burnaby BC.
    ► Expiry on my bottle shows 02-2026 so this hasn't been sitting around on a shelf somewhere for any long period of time.
    ► Made up of ingredients where many of them are easily absorbed.

    As I write this review, the bottle is selling for $48.24, or about $0.40 per capsule. At two per day this is on the high side versus some of the other thyroid support supplements available here on 鶹.

    👀 The only caution on the bottle is to take the capsules with food or, as a healthcare provider recommends, a few hours before or after taking other medications.

    Before starting any supplement that's not a "standard," such as Vitamins C and D, it's a good idea to talk with your healthcare provider. I always see our holistic practitioner and have him test whether or not I should be using anything new. Everyone's physiology and nutrition requirements can vary greatly.

    With Thorne, you know you get great quality. Their products are third-party tested and some of the best supplements on the market. I have a sluggish thyroid but do not take any therapy as my bloodwork is always borderline. I feel great taking these pills as they have a blend of great ingredients, from vitamin C to ashwagandha and L-tyrosine.
    The pills themselves have a little bit of a capsule smell to them, but they don't leave any aftertaste or upset my stomach.

    Thorne is a trusted brand for supplements. I have used their products for years and am always impressed by their quality. This supplement has ingredients often found in thyroid support supplements. It also has a valid NPN number which is required for supplements that are sold in Canada.

Additionally, I feel that I have slightly more energy and feel more positive, i.e. in a generally better mood. I find that I can concentrate more at work and be more productive. The drawback is the price point. I find $48 (the price at the time of this review) is on the high side, but if it can improve on quality of life, it is difficult to really put a price on it.
