Great brand but….different formulas
Thorne is a brand that I researched and trust which was also recommended by several doctors on YouTube. If you’re in Canada vs USA I have noticed some differences in this barberine product. I have relatives in USA so I initially used the Berberine Dual Action formula with Phytosome Plus Botanicals Extract back in the Summer and had no stomache issues and even though I am slim and work out regularly I lost 5lbs in 5-6 weeks with no other changes. Then I took a 3 month break after using it for 3 months which is what is recommended and when I bought this berbeine called Berberine HP I noticed stomache issues right away (gas, bloating, diarrhea) even though it’s the same Berberine technically. I have PCOS and wanted to lose 5 lbs of belly fat so this was very helpful to reduce sugar cravings combined with my usual routine prior to buying Berberine (intermittent fasting of 12-16 hours daily, usual healthy diet and workouts) but those stubborn 5 lbs came off using the one from USA. I couldn’t stick to the Canadian one due to the stomache discomfort so I went back to the Berberine from the USA because I think the formula is different between the two countries and the USA one is more gentle on my stomach with the same dosage of 2 pills a day,; one for lunch and one for dinner. By the way, the Canadian one here is yellow in colour and the USA version is light green so they even look different not just act differently for me.
