The thermometer has dual power sources: 2 x AA batteries or a micro USB input DC 5V. This feature offers a backup power option, ensuring uninterrupted use. The micro USB input DC 5V is suitable for lab/industrial settings, while the 2 x AA batteries offer portability for outdoor work.
