I quite like everything about this timer except the alarm volume. It says it has three choices on volume level, but that function doesn’t seem to be working. All levels are so loud that both I and my cat jump when it goes off. (And this is a cat that pays no attention to coffee being ground in a burr grinder.)

That being said, it’s easy to program and use. And I’m glad to have a gadget that has two timers that accept times longer than 12 hours.

The beep is a good loudness from quiet to fairly loud (and mute of course), certainly not anywhere near being painfully loud as with earlier models people were complaining about. The display can't be turned off to save batteries when it's not in use, I use re-chargeables anyways so no big deal. Good unit and good purchase.***Edit*** Just had a problem with it that I wasn't expecting. One of the magnets came loose, the unit fell downwards but was still stuck on the fridge by the second magnet when I had a look to see what happened. I pulled the unit off the fridge and the second magnet came loose. I am lucky the unit didn't hit the floor. I'll be using this unit on a tabletop from now on.
