    I purchased this fan specifically to add airflow at the rear of a Thermaltake Core V1 SPCC Mini-ITX case. While the case isn’t designed to have a fan mounted at that location, this fan’s slim profile made it possible to fit it behind the hard drive bay with a small amount of case modification.

    I’m using this system as a NAS with several hard drives installed, and with the stock fans the drives were running warmer than I was comfortable with. There’s no factory fan mount at the height of the drive cage, but I had seen others successfully mod the case to add a thin fan in that spot. This fan fit perfectly in terms of depth, and I was able to secure it using the existing fan holes, though the screws had to go in at a slight angle due to the unconventional mounting.

    Once installed, the improvement in airflow was immediately noticeable. Drive temperatures dropped to a much more reasonable range, and the fan is very quiet; even at higher speeds it’s barely audible compared to the stock fans. It runs smoothly, without vibration or bearing noise.

    Overall, this is a great-performing, low-noise fan, especially if you’re working in a tight space or doing a custom or modified build. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to improve cooling in small cases or unconventional mounting locations, as long as you’re comfortable doing a minor mod.

    Probably among the best budget case fans on the market; I usually use Arctic but got this one for a less intensive build and it works great. Noise is almost non-existent, but I do have the PC on the ground below a desk, not close to me. It's on a fan curve, at pretty low RPMS, but if I ramp it up it is relatively noisy, so be aware if you're needing a ton of cooling. If you just need some relatively light cooling though, the value on this is hard to beat.
