This Thermalright CPU cooler is a fantastic addition to my ITX build. The quality is immediately noticeable, the full copper construction has some good weight to it, and feels very premium. Installation was straightforward, even in the tight confines of my small form factor case.
This replaced a 240mm AIO (pump failure), and the one thing I have learned over my years of PC building is that air cooling is the better way to go, lower failure rate, much more cost-friendly, and generally has equal performance to AIO's. And despite the requirement of a low-profile cooler in my Lian Li A4-H20 this AXP90 X53 is on par with a 240mm AIO, and my VRM + motherboard + RAM temps are lower as well.
I did swap out the included fan for a higher RPM, quieter Noctua NF-A9x14 HS-PWM, but that doesn't detract from the amazing value this cooler already offers. Following advice from online tech reviews, I oriented the heatpipe tops towards the RAM modules, which apparently helps decrease CPU temps by several degrees.
Most importantly, the performance is amazing. My R7 5700X3D is running noticeably cooler, and I'm very impressed with the thermal efficiency. If you're looking for a high-quality cooler for a compact system, this is definitely worth considering. Highly recommended!

Scuffs all over the mating plate.
