The media could not be loaded.

After hearing many great things about Televes products I decided to get this preamp to help stabilize some iffy channels for my parents. Most channels jumped from the mid 70s to upper 90s and even 100% in strength and quality with this preamp. We’ll see how it does during a Canadian winter, but I may buy one for myself.

UPDATE: adding video review - you can see the difference in strength and quality

UPDATE #2: So far so good in the cold months. Will update again in the spring.

UPDATE #3: It survived the winter months with many cold days. Still working strong as the first day we set it up. We have yet to turn the antenna to see if can lock in those other channels we were hoping to get, but none of us want to climb on the roof again.

I'm in a fringe area surrounded by hills with very few channels. Without an amp I get three - one fairly reliably, one maybe half of the time, and one only if weather conditions are perfect. Even the best channel is only 60% signal quality. All are in the 30 to 40 mile range and a mix of uhf and vhf-hi in a 45 degree arc. Adding this amp gave me all three channels at 100% and a forth at 75%. No pixelization, no overdriven signals. Just a perfect picture.

If I had one complaint it would be the seal on the weatherproof housing is too small for the huge connectors on RG11.

I was messing around with this thing for a bit and then I realized it needs a power supply which I’m pretty sure it was supposed to be included not 100% sure though the description is pretty bad I bought this because the antenna man said it would help with multiple antennas it did not because there’s no power supply and when I messaged the seller, they basically said that was �鶹��’s problem and then �鶹�� says it’s a third-party seller so it’s not their problem

I replace my old setup indoor use of Old Philips amp antenna that worked ok but not great with a new a Antennas Direct ClearStream 4V antenna that improved my reception a great deal, still less then 100% for signal strength most 80%~90% but they didn't breakup like before with storms like my old setup.
I did some research and the Antenna Man on YouTube mention this antenna amplifier that have separate amplified bands and filters for FM and 5G cell in it.
I bought it and now all but 1 (the new one from over 60 miles that I never have been able to get before) station 100% signal strength and most are over 80% signal quality.
So I have the antenna in doors in a vaulted ceiling that about 12 foot high, facing mostly south since most of the transmitters are that direction within 30 degrees of each other. What is really nice but at this time but not needed is the power unit for the amp has 2 outputs so it a powered splitter now sure what db it splits at but it works great.
I am feeding this into to 8 way powered 5db distribution amp which feeds 3 TV, 1 hdhomerun, 4 PC internal ASTC tuners (1 with 1 ATSC tuner, 2 with 2 ATSC tuners and 1 with 4 ATSC tuners) in 2 PCs.
Anyway, this is a GREAT amplifier, that allows 2 antenna inputs and has power unit that has 2 outputs for you to use all for under $80. Worth it.

I have two antennas, an old RCA and a new Televes one. The televes by itself was picking up my 47 channels ok, but when I scanned them with the receiver in my Tablo recorder, a bunch came out red (low connection) and crapped out from time to time, usually during a game on CBS (about 60 miles away). It was amplified with a Televes amp (the same one that comes with this combiner). So I got this combiner amp combo, which only costs $10 then buying the amp itself. I thought I would need an amp for each antenna, but the instructions and diagram show the combiner being hooked up directly to each antenna and then the single output (the Vin one) going to my original amp, and then the amp drive two coax cables to two different parts of the house each with several tvs on them (5 tvs total). When I re-scanned, everything was green, and so far no channel drops. Works great. And I have a spare amp as well. Televes Rocks!

By the way my original Televes amp died, and the companies customer service was great and quickly debugged what was wrong and sent me a new one quick.

I have an attic setup using the UHF-only version of the Range Experts Insane Gain antenna. The passive performance of the antenna was better than my previous flat antenna, however my local Fox station was spotty while I could not watch the PBS station at all. I also have an LTE range extender installed in the home. So, it was important for me to have a 4G/5G filter on my pre-amp. After installation, the local Fox and PBS stations were rock solid. Very happy!!

Pros: Sturdy construction of electronics, and they appear to be high quality. Improved reception for one spotty station and gained a second compared to a passive antenna setup. 4G/5G filtering built in.

Cons: The plastic case for the pre amp is certainly not water tight and will not close if your coaxial connectors are bigger in circumference. It seems that it was designed with some relatively small circumference connectors in mind.

Was very hopeful this would improve my Attic antennas or/and my Roof antenna. Watched videos and read reviews on multiply sites. This was such a disappointment and the time it took too test for each antenna and connection took many hours only too never see an improvement. Had too search the web to find instructions on how to connect the two devices so I was doing it right. Found only one website that had the right diagram, as the instructions they come with are horrendous! No matter what I tried it never bettered the roof connection that has a direct connection to my Tivo DVR. Sometimes during the year the signal gets worse and needs something to improve it. Some times my weak CBS just pixilates too much. Roof antenna is Channel Master single ULTRAAtenna 60 - in my area works ok when all the leaves have fallen like now.
The attic antenna is the Antennas Direct ClearStream 4MAX UHF VHF Indoor Outdoor TV Antenna.
( another recommendation from Antennaman that did not help.) I may need to try the channel master EXTREAMEtenna which hardly goes on sale. Also looking at the Data-Boss from Televes. Tried both Televes model Preamps too see if one would work better than the other. The 560483 can do 2 antennas that can be connected at the same time and the single unit antenna 560383. Neither showed any improvement. Had to return both PRE-AMPS. : (

I had tried many different things to both combine and amplify signals from my two antennas in my attic. This unit did the trick! I went from 42 useable channels to 63, and I suspect the number will go up once I am able to do some adjustments to the amtenna directions, compass orientation that is.

Installation was easy, and since the power injector can be remote mounted, I was able to install it with my other "headend" equipment that are powered via my UPS so when power drops out, I am still able to get weather data via the TV system.
