This was the first teething toy my baby was able to grab onto by himself, so we've got so much use out of them. The crown on the pineapple can be a bit prickly for small babies who are still trying to control their arm movement. I saw a few times he nearly stabbed the crown into his eye.

That means there was a thin later of something on it and the hot water removed it. Planning to reach out to the company and see what they can do.
