    Ironically, the country that invented the tank never "got it right" until very late in the second war, when the embryonic concept of the Centurion was forning. Like most UK tanks, the Churchill was complex, unreliable, heavy and underarmed, akin to a stumbling elephant carrying a peashooter. This kit is pretty old but still holds up well. It will build quickly and easily, although the running gear is a bit more involved than other Tamiya kits. A good selection of decal options are included. Five figures are included- the original set which is a tank commander standing on a box consulting a map and a "Tommy" pointing off in the distance. The new figure additions are a French farmer offering wine to the crew, complete with a farm wagon and milk urns and basket. The other two figures are the tank commander and driver. A pretty good bonus, really. Recommended.
