    The kids like playing with these and practicing their painting on them. They aren’t the highest resolution minifigures you can get but good for the price and then you don’t feel bad about the kids messing around with them.

    A lot of the figures are surprisingly detailed, but others arrived broken, bent, and warped due to being crammed in a small container. If you're looking for high quality minis, these probably aren't them; but if you're looking for a batch of minis to practice painting on, these are great!

    The plastic on these is much more rigid and smooth than Wizkids and other brands. Many of the pieces can't be manipulated the way softer plastic can be, like moving a cape or arm out of the way. I also highly recommend priming the minis before painting. I don't have a primer and needed several coats to get an even base before starting on details.

    My favorite pieces: dwarf w/ hammer, wizard, tiefling archer, winged demon. Excited to try painting the Troll

    Edit: got a primer and it makes a HUGE difference. Priming these minis brings out small details in the plastic and reduces the amount of paint you need to get the minis table ready. You'll also want some Modge Podge to seal the paint. I found that paints rub off from these minis really easy.

    For the price you pay this is an extremely good deal.

    The quality of the miniatures is decent, particularly on the medium-sized creatures. There's little definition on faces/weapons, but anyone with monstrous features or heavy armor looks good. The exception is the Mindflayer, who is phenomenal.

    The troll is something of a disappointment, with the poly texturing of his skin being obvious. Maybe I can work in some details while painting him to get rid of that.

    Overall, very pleased with the purchase.
