One of the aspects I liked most about this building block set is the variety of pieces included. With over 320 components, it provides ample opportunity for creativity and allows my grandson to build different models or modify designs as he sees fit. The detailed instructions make it easy to follow along, which is helpful for kids in the 8-12 age range. My 10-year-old son is absolutely passionate about building blocks, so when he got his hands on this sports car construction set, he was instantly hooked. He found it really fun, easy to build, and most importantly original. Right from the start, he was impressed by the quality of the blocks. There were no odd mold marks or mismatched colors like we’ve seen with other off-brand sets. Everything fit together smoothly, and the pieces held well once connected.

What’s great is that the blocks are also compatible with more popular, well-known brands, so he was able to mix and match with other sets he already owns. The finished car looks fantastic—sleek, colorful, and detailed. With 320 pieces, there’s a lot to enjoy here, including a variety of vibrant parts and a good amount of detail that really brings the model to life. The included stickers help add some extra flair, giving the car a cool, polished look.

One feature that really stood out to both of us was the display case that comes with the set. It’s designed like a little showcase and adds a really nice finishing touch to the whole project. Once the car was built, my son placed it in the case and set it proudly on his shelf—it looks great on display!

At $32 CAD, this set offers excellent value. The build experience is rewarding, the quality is there, and the end result is something kids can be proud of.

All in all, my son had a blast building this car and would absolutely recommend it to other young builders—even though it’s not from the "big-name" brand that starts with L. Sometimes the lesser-known options surprise you—and this set definitely did!

My kids and I have been building this car for a little over a week now (yes, I know, they have pretty short attention spans, and not that great at building LEGO to begin with), and it’s been great. I think it’s a great activity for them, and they really like building stuff. They really like that it’s a good looking car, and that they get to display it afterwards.

Here’s what I like about this building set:
-Instructions are good with pictures and easy to follow
-Like the display case-black bottom with a clear case top
-Good price for a build a car item
-Details on the car is good
-Pieces are divided into numbered bags
-Looks like the photos

And here’s what I don’t like about it:
-The small blocks can be a little hard to stick into place.
-The set is a lot smaller than other sets for around the same price

I think the biggest thing that you may want to consider, is that this set is more expensive for the amount of pieces that you get. When it’s fully built, it’s a lot smaller than similar sets, and it can feel like you’re getting ripped off a little.

That said, if you like the look of this set, there’s really nothing wrong with it. I think it’s a fun thing to build, and the instructions are good, and very similar to LEGO style instructions. At $32, again there are larger sets, but I would say that’s not always what matters.

I always like putting together different types of brick models and of course that means third party Lego types like this. The sports car from TGY Tycole is actually quite complex and while it says ages 8 to 12, it even took me an adult quite a while to fully instructions in complete it. One thing I thought was actually quite nice is that it came with a display case, something good no other brand supplies. The cases themselves have little nubs on them, kind of like Lego nubs meaning you can actually build several from this vendor and stack them on top of one another which is pretty cool. Overall the quality is good, the instructions are rather thorough but there are several times when the visual layout kind of overlaps and things get a bit confusing but beyond that it's a great model and very budget friendly compared to the other big brand names.

The set is basically another "car in a box" set that several manufacturers make. It follows the same build pattern, same sticker usage, same base, and same case. If you've built one similar before, you know what to expect. There is nothing particularly challenging about this set, outside a couple of places where pieces aren't attached very strongly. It shouldn't take long to build either. The end result is a nice looking, but generic, sports car that can be displayed in a case that will firmly attach to other similar cases.

There are a couple of negatives. The instructions are not the best in the world, but they do the job. There are a few places where the perspective is off, or it's not clear where something is supposed to go, so you may end up with some trial and error in a few steps. As said, there are some places where pieces are not very stable because they are being held on with a single stud. Lastly, the stickers are not as detailed as the pictures make them out to be. The ones that contain writing, you can't read, the logos could be anything, and the ones that look like they have a pattern on them (right in front of the real wheels for example) are just solid black.

Overall, the set is nice, but does cut some corners. I think it's a little overpriced because of the corner cutting, but it's still worth considering.
