I have fuji film XM5 with 15-45 kit lens.
I would say if you have the kit lens, stick to your kit lens. The only advantage that I can see with this lens is the 1.8 aperture. The advantage will work if you will use it in low light most of the time but if 90% of the times you're shooting in a well lighted situation, stick with kit lens.
The lens is slightly heavier and longer than the kit lens and for me I didn't like it.
I would say get the 35mm 1.8 or brighter. This will give you a portrait lens or shots with bokeh.
Again, it's a good lens but not for me. I returned the lens.
